Race Report - NI Vets 5 mile road race

Paul Rowan M40 won a very competitive race from Alan McCullough M40 in an excellent time of 25.34. Matt Shields also showed good form, clearly winning the M55 category while Neil Douglas continued his impressive form by taking the M35 category.

Pauline Thom F35 was first female in 32.56 with Gillian Burns F35 2nd vet and Lynn Kerr F45 3rd.

Bertie Grimason ran 46.52 with John McKeag in 55.36 finishing with a smile.

The course was well marshalled and with the better prizes it is hoped the numbers will increase next year
